Rang Noirin recently completed a project where they designed and made a clay tile relief on the theme of "my past".
They each picked an important event in their past to represent. We ran an in-class competition to give the winner a prize of a bag (customised with her logo on it) full of art supplies. We also had two runners-up who each won a bag, badge and magnet, all customised with their individual logos.
The overall winner was Sarah Hoare, her tile was inspired by her First Holy Communion and she did some really excellent prep-work, as well as designing a lovely final tile. Our two runners up were Abaigeal Sheehan, for her "In the garden" tile and Rebecca Colbert for her "Dia de los Muertos" tile.
